Bodyshops in the NorthWest (<30miles of Warrington)

Covers a wide range but any really good body shops in that area?

I have only used one; they did a good job but took such a long time. From what I could see they had big jobs which got stopped by little jobs...

Mine was a big job :(

So any places to suggest?

C.J. knows someone who is a top notch body shop chap - he works from home and from what I have heard from independant customers he does a fantastic job.

Only downside of this is that he is very busy :thumbdwn:

May be worth PMing him anyway.

What a very good question Colin... I need one too :grumpy:

Awesome use the one round the corner from them for everything

I'll find out the name ... when I remember where I read it

Don't know if they come recommended though

I have previously used SPG in warrington town centre (not far from central station). Did quite a good job on my previous subaru, not perfect, but i had lost all interest after the insurance company took 8 months to get the repairs authorised.

Might be worth getting a quote?

Phill,

Nice Welsh valley there...I feel it should be familiar in some way...but I know it's not the little pass with the fjord and steep switchbacks or is it?

Clarey-long time no speak, just feel to the need to tell you I love your old impreza!

Pro Spray in Caddishead is who awesome use i think? and i my self have used them in the past, didnt have any complaints about the work but not the cheapest around.

Just turn left before the lights at warburton bridge (where the shell garage used to be) and its a few hundred yards down the country road.

there is one or two reputable ones (palentine?) on the industrial estate next to the causway pub in wilderspool?

Not sure Colin, its the unclassified road between the B4407 and B4406 via Penmachno.

Its just a very undulating steep hill downwards, excellent for testing (cooking!) brakes :D

This is the view of the start (possibly my favourite road sign :D )

Hi Mike, not been around much lately, might try and get to the anglesey track day in nov.

Nice view Phil

That bonnet reminds me of a car I used to own ;)

There's a body shop in Golden Square - used to buy shampoo for SWMBO from there.

Was in there at the weekend reporting them to Trading Standards, went in for a new body as mine is knackered after years of Stella abuse and they don't sell them :( ;)

Used to love wandering through Golden Square at lunch time when I worked in Warrington and all the college girls were there in their see trough white pants. :D

Prescot is full of old biddies.
