19" wheels and tyres

Featured Replies

can i expect any problems with rubbing etc, and can some someone recommend some tyres (235 - 35 - 19 )

thanks

Depends on:

  1. Is the car lowered or not?
  2. what is the offest of the wheels?
  3. Is the car for looking at or driving because 19's will compromise the handling and offer very little additional grip over a set of 18's with 225/40's.

Be careful what wheels you buy - many of the wheels off ebay are not homologated and lack any type approvals. A mate of mine bought a really nice looking set of Audi RS4 copies from ebay and broke a wheel on the first sunken draincover. Worth enquiring of seller what type approval their wheels conform to.........
