VRS Bonnet

Featured Replies

Questions regarding a Fabia VRS bonnet,

My car has had plenty upon plenty of Mway driving and has picked up stone chips right down to the blue (presumably prima?) It has several all over the and i want to get them sorted, properly. (not some DIY kit from halfords)

The bonnet is black, what is the best way of sorting the problem?

1) is vrs black the only shade of black avail? therefore would replacing the bonnet a viable option? either buying a brand new one or picking one up at a scrappers?

2) having it resprayed? (rough cost?)

3) another option...please state.

thanks in advance.

only decent option is bodyshop respray...prob £150 ish

Black magic is a std colour option, there is absolutely zero difference between the vrs bonnet and non vrs bonnet.

As above said, around £150 for a respray, or you could look at scrap yards for another black magic bonnet to replace it if you so wish.

I'd check the scrappers, but all the ones by me don't ever have furbs in!must be a lot of careful skoda drivers about....or just curb crawlers?

Another option is carbon fiber vinyl wrap.

Another option is carbon fiber vinyl wrap.

would be a lot cheaper with a painted respray i'd imagine.

decent carbon effect vinyl is not cheap at all (if you can source it) and the cheaper stuff just looks crap.

Don't bother finding another black bonnet as they will have paint faults as well.

Just go for the repaint and then it will be perfect.
