Ultimate Fabia MK2 Thread!

Recommended Posts

Ive seen this countless times on other car owner forums. Its such a nice idea, all you do is post what you think to be the nicest picture of your broom broom. List any mods, if you have a proggresion thread wack a link up and can even list your age and were abouts you live (NO POSTCODES!), i think there is some stigma about old people and skoda's. So i would be very intrested to see how many youngsters we have :D

Also if you want to change your picture at any time, maybe you have taken a better one. Or perhaps you have some major visual alterations. lowered, new wheels etc. Please edit your original post. Also because this is a pic mashing thread, please 1 picture only, So take your time and pick carefully. Have fun and hope to see a real mk2 fabia community thread

Ill kick off......

Ok for everyone and future people posting none photo posts, dont worry about it, just edit your posts, when you have ether got a car! taken a nice picture, or waiting for mods. Age isnt a factor, just wanted to see what the majority was :D

Age: 40's

Location: Somerset

Car Fabia II 1.4TDi Estate

Colour: Brilliant Silver

Delivered: Nov 2008

Equipment level: 3

Options:

-heated seats (for the wife!)

-drawers under front seats

-steering wheel controls

Mods:

-Large labradoodle who insists on taking up the whole (enormous!) boot and generally slobbering all over the back headrests!

-Six month old son complete with nice (says the wife!) car seat. Comes with built in sonic boom device (i.e. crying at 110 decibels!) and buggy, toys, carry bags etc etc

-Dent in rear bumper despite having rear parking sensors (note to wife - thats why the beeping was so fast!)

-Wife who has completely taken over the car and deposited various girly items in every cubbyhole such as scrunchies (eh?), lipstick, nail varnish, make-up and Jilly Cooper books.

-Permanently heated seats even in a heatwave (see wife for justification!)

-Non-working climate control (well wife says it can't be switched on at less than 24 degrees)

I've given up and swapped into the Mk1 1.9TDi hatch which I must say is a much nicer drive with the CD on and air-con going.

Now where did I put the valium?

Only Fabia and all sport badges removed. Front skoda badge remains. So does the rear skoda badge and the tiny tdi plaque. O and all the dealer stickers removed.

good lad in keeping the skoda badges

i thought about removing the security stickers on the side back windows but actually might be a deterent.

p.s. let me know if you're getting rid of the standard wheels
