You want one that works properly? Like an Audi one?

They are about £18k. They come with a free A3.

Good stuff.

I've got one, Never fitted still in box, PM if interested!

Of all the people to fit these has anyone noticed any signal loss at all? I fitted a Sharan replica to mine and it's ok, but signal strength does take a notable knock so I'm looking for an alternative now.

The OEM aerial with its inbuilt amplifier when made was matched to the OEM radio, both fitted by Skoda (VW). Any other make of aerial fitted later will work ,but may not be as sensitive at picking up stations. I dont think any of the non-Skoda (VW) makers of aerials bother to try them with all the different makes of cars available,to see if they work OK. If there are any radio hams on this forum ,they will tell you about aerial matching.

I have done it on mine with an aftermarket stereo system too and the radio reception is sh!te

I remember in days gone by having to "trim" a car radio to suit the aerial. There used to be a small "screw" to turn either way to get the best reception.

I have an amplifier on mine from Halfords. signal seems no better or worse than the standard stereo and aerial set up.

I have herd the scirocco one fits or A3
