Gutted: They ordered and delivered the wrong car!

Well make sure it's on fixed servicing otherwise your compensation will turn out to be a free oil change and not much more.

Cheers, I have already confirmed that it will be fixed servicing, i.e 3 services in 3 years.

It is a shame because the service that I have had from the 'Service Department' has been very good with my existing car. The process of buying the car and the availability of the test drive were also good, but keeping me informed since the order has been placed has in my opinion been poor.

... and now this. I will see how we get on over the coming weeks.

Just ordered new car for SWMBO on Saturday, so think I might just make a quick call to the dealer and check the order is as I asked... Not a Skoda this time (heretic!) so hopefully ok...

;)

If you want to see customer dissatisfaction in action try this thread from the Fiat forum. Bobthebob post #70 and his next few disintegrating postings.

Do you think that they're more than a little pi**ed off?

Rude word filter doesn't appear to be working! lol!

That's one miffed guy

I hate to see him when he's really angry... :orb_scare

The car is S*** compared to other better spec'd marques anyway!(I have just had a drive in a Citroen C3

Picasso exec and wish to F*** I had done that before this Icelandic F****** Saga Began)

Pity he didn't test drive a Skoda first, depending on what he ordered he may have still been waiting for his car but I think he would have been happier with it once he got it.

It was a long time ago but my wife had a FIAT. To be fair the engine was quite good but the bodywork suffered terribly from rust. We ended up scrapping it and it collapsed in the middle when they lifted the front end up to tow it away.

Hopefully they're a bit better now but I still wouldn't buy one.

Well I have to say I have a Sedici and it is simply superb in snow (transmission lock on it), but it isn’t a sumptuous place to live. I think that chaps expectation bubble may be burst pretty soon. Oh I am so glad I am not the dealer who tried to sell him this car. He hasn’t got it yet, who knows what else can go wrong:D

Feel so sorry for the guy, buy why the f would you want to wait so long for a fugly car?

I’ll take that with a large pinch shall I? It’s not as Fugly as some other I could mention:P

I don't think it's fugly, well not from that angle anyway, I don't know what the rest of it looks like.

It reminds me a bit of an Audi A3 : http://www.se.pl/media/pics/2008/04/25/audi_a3_460x370.jpg

especially the shape of the radiator grill.

The version 1 seems OK. But teh version 2 is plain, dull and fugly

I can barely tell the difference. Even the interior looks the same. Still it’s not looks that counts if you want to off road. The Yeti is no looker but it should be fine for a bit of rough and tumble, even without a lockable centre diff:P

Well, you've sold it to me already, (goes out to order a Yeti ;))

Its’ a gift I have :thumbup::D

Just reading this eating my lunch, and nearly had a yoghurt/keyboard interface moment!

I used to quite like Fiats because of the design flair, but they seem to have lost the plot recently, they all look too much like 'Euro boxes'. Although, TBH, so do some VAG offerings...
