Petrol cap cover not working

the release thingy on my fabia vrs petrol cap does now work. booked it in to the dealer for repair but thats 2 weeks away! anyone know how to repair it or had similar probs? fancy having a go myself. :confused:

I don't have Furby so can't help I'm afraid. Pretty sure someone will be able to help though

Mine stopped working one hour after delivery - took it back to dealer who fixed it in 2 minutes. Apparantly the release cable had come out of a clip (in the boot at the side)

thnx, ill have a poke around see if i can sort it from the boot end.

The very thing happedned on mine....Dealer fixed it in seconds...

Reach behind boot pannelling, Run fingers down cable and re-seat it into

cable-end seat. Takes seconds. NB. Dont pull filler cap so hard.

I had a problem with the filler cap not opening - lever was VERY stiff from inside the car... But I took the easy way out and wrote off the car and got a new one. :rofl:
