Chips away

Featured Replies

Just wanted to big them up a bit.

Some horrible little turd put a 12 inch, deep scratch right down the passenger door of my otherwise beautiful car a few weeks back.

Tonight, a very nice guy came to the house for a couple of hours and, when he had finished I had perfectly colour matched, lacquered and polished door.

I am proper, proper impressed.

And it was only £125 for at least 2 hours work. Good show!

Excellent glad it's sorted. Now find the scroat that did it, and set his goolies alight.

Thats a good price - some little fecker scratched mine down 2 doors, and was quoted £375 to sort it from a garage so decided to leave it as the car is now 11 years old and knowing my luck will get it done then something else will happen.

In the end I just touched it over with some touch up paint and its made it look a bit better.

I've used them myself on my Focus, I was well impressed!

However from reading on the internet it can vary from area to area so sometimes it is worth looking at going to a bodyshop instead.
