Thanks for this - yeah it is a bit flat, and not dark enough as i hoped.

I think i am going to have to pay £400. Still can't decide on colour for me it probably Steel Grey. Have you seen a picture of this one?

Autotrader review has some good photo's including steel grey:

I like that Mucovado Yeti , it reminds me of the colour of my 1975 Campaign Edition 1303 Bug!

I saw one of these advertised on autotrader - it looked nice. Not sure if it's the colour for me though,

Steel Grey for me.

I think i may as well spend £80 on the 17" Annapurna alloys. Suppose £500 on options incl. posh wheels isn't too bad.

Anyone know the lead/delivery times on Yeti's at the moment?

Delivery has been discussed today funnily enough here:

1.2TSI DSG not going into production until the first week in February, so I would say end of Feb early March for delivery.

If you're in and around Manchester, Hobins have a steel grey Yeti Elegance or SE in.

It's the colour we're going for or should I say SHMBO has chosen. I liked the aqua and also the anthracite but have been over ruled. Still, it's her car

So Gutted!!!!

I'm having issues with these new TSI DSG's. I am trying to order a new VW Polo 1.2 TSI DSG for my wife and having the same issue. VW are not releasing till Q1 2010. Sucks so much - only engine to have DSG in Yeti not ready till early 2010.

if you load the german yeti website - in their car configurator you can see all the Yeti colours on the actual car - much better website than UK

Pacific Blue, looks like it works on the Yeti. Maybe due to black trim and plastics. I'd much rather put £400 to better accessories than paint!!!

Is this Pacific Blue or Storm Blue?

Capacinno works!

I am assured by my dealer that Capuccino is the best colour for hiding the dirt!! This must put it at the top of the list for favourite colours.

My hunch is Pacific Blue because AFAIK Storm Blue is much darker on an Indigo/Midnight Blue level.

Not so good 'in the metal' IMHO; my dealer has two at present and they look bland and non descript.

I've just driven an aqua blue one which just looked like common silver to me.

How very dare you!!!

Hi all,

I've gone off metallic cars too ;-) I picked a white one cos I liked some of the modern cars in white that I've seen the the best mettalic one I've seen in the flesh though has to be the Capacinno one I saw. The light blue one I'd prefer if it was a slight bit darker...

Jerry

starting to think that Capaccino looks dull and the Yeti needs bolder colours?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I chose the colour because it is understated. (and my wife liked it!) Everyone has their own taste, I was always for BRG, had two TVRs in that colour.

As I said before, it won't show the dirt!

...SNAP

I originally ordered a Storm Blue 170 but during the confirmation process my dealer (knowing where I live....and boy is it rural) suggested I go with the cappuccino due to the dirt hiding qualities.....didn't like his suggestion one bit (thinking of proclaiming to all and sundry hmmmm I have a wicked CR170 ......and its magnolia) until i saw his superb in cappuccino, SOLD!

The color charts in brochures etc do no justice to the color in the metal. Beige ain't cool......... but the way cappuccino looks, it's perfect for my taste and functional requirement.

BTW my dealer has confirmed (dont ask me how....voodoo?:surprised) that I'll be recieving me snow monster mid decemeber

To continue a theme in another thread....only 27 more sleeps to go!:D

Did he say which December ?

392 sleeps to go....:D

Woo Hoo. Just got my Aqua Blue today :D:thumbup::D:thumbup:

Looks like Storm Blue to me, not the right shade for Pacific and would be more 'flat'.

I e-mailed Skoda CZ back in September asking if there were any actual photo's of a Yeti in Pacific, the answer back was sorry no. Got the impression that they had yet to build one in that colour.
