Advice on mods

sorry to post questions as a dont thinka sould put them here

what should a do 1st to the vrs and whats the best place to get it mapped ave been given a price off td performance and it was quite good a he said a should have about 165-175 bhp or is there other things a should do 1st

Some would say make it handle better first. Such as suspension, roll bars, brakes. Then increase the power.

id say deffo handling first. Coilovers or springs and dampers. cupra console bushes and rarb if you think you need it. MB motorsport in hebburn are a Jabba sport dealer so they could do your remap for you. not sure if they have a rolling road though

volksparts in durham is also a good indy garage if you need any work doing.

you said that volksparts and mb motorsport are local are the good at suplying and fitting

am going to try and get some pics of the car posted and try and attend sum meets also would be cool to meet people off here and chat about afew idears i have

cheers for your reply

Making it handle and stop better first is always a good idea.

On the remap front, I can heartily recommend Performance Torque in Wolverhampton.

you said that volksparts and mb motorsport are local are the good at suplying and fitting

im not sure about supplying but they are spot on for fitting. will offer lots of advice and are really helpful.

dpm are doing weitec coilovers for £399 (until xmas) and you can pick up APs for about £365

if youre going euro 50mm+ then id get a metal sump guard fabricated as youll most likely end up with your sump smashed all over the road

thats not a bad price a did have a look at the car the day a the sump is quite low , a really wana stick to the euro look as a think it will suit the car well never thought about a sump gard but really good idea al see if a can speak to people on here with fabs quite low and see if they have any probs so on,

have you done much to yours then ???

If you are in Newcastle, then speak to Michael Boak (from MB Motorsport), their address is on the Jabbasport website. I've never been but know him as he runs and drives Rallycross cars (in the Supercar and modified class). I think when I last spoke to him at Blyton, he said he did not have a Rolling Road. I'm sure I have read about another firm in Newcastle, but that said Jabba is a well know and respected remap supplier (and site sponsor on here).

If you require a Rolling Road then I know that Motorscope in Northalerton and RS-Tuning in Leeds have them. Motorscope can also sell you a Superchips map, I'm sure RS do maps as well.
