I have one of those Green Cotton Panel fiters on my VRS so how do you clean them?

They usually come with a cleaning fluid, that said mine ran out fairly sharpish.

I stand mine in a bucket of warm water with some fairy non-bio for an hour or two, good rinse, overnight dry, re-oil and away you go:thumbup:

Mild soapy solution, Rinse well, Allow to throughly dry, Lightly re-oil and replace. Jobs-a-good-un:D

Reoil? What oil & how do you apply it?

Green Cotton will surely sell a servicing kit mate.

It will consist of a cleaner solution (typically some sort of shampoo), and an aerosol spray can of Filter Oil.

Always spray the oil onto one side of the airfilter - that is the side which the air comes in first. that will help minimise over oiling of the filter, and minimise any damage to the MAF meter in the longer term

you can use other brands as well (such as K&N kits or Pipercross however their oils are a red so you may ruin the colour of the filter).

Was thiking of that as well, changed every 3mths. should keep it free flowing.
