Just a feeler to see who would be interested in a run over to Blackpool for the day , set off first thing stop off for brekky on the way , then spend the day in Blackpool / see the lights then a nice steady drive back in the dark & stop off for a drink on the way :thumbup:

Prob best doing it on a Saturday as most people will be off work & then they can stay in bed Sunday ;)

Not that far , just over 2 hours from Scotch Corner :rofl:

Date i had in mind was Sat 17th Oct (or can do the 18th if peeps want to go on a sunday) , lights are only on until first week in Nov

17th seems ok with me

Cant on the 17th off on hol`s to Turkey hmm flights not till 10pm thou...Sound like a good day out...better not ....i will have to give this one a miss

i can make this chaps need a bit mor info mayb a meet place to drive from or somthing mayb forton services on the m6 for any one north of this?

If I hadn't used up all my holiday for the year I'd come down for a long weekend as I've never been to Blackpool :o

Few of us will be heading over from the north east via Brough / Kirby Stephen then Tebay / M6 so we could prob all meet up at Tebay services if thats ok ?

l,ll post times / places to meet a bit nearer the time if there is enough interest in this still .

If this is on in the evening, I can possibly make this
