Office 2003 Business edition

Featured Replies

My works machine came with Office 2007 demo, which expired. I've been using open office since, but it messes with some of the templates I use.

Asked IT fella today, and he gave me the last free product key on our site licence, and a disk before running out the office on his 3 week African safari. But just checked, and the disk he game me as he left is for 2007 demo again - which our licence key doesnt unlock

Can anyone provide me with either a (legit version) 2003 trial or Business/pro version ISO I can burn and load, then use our key to install with? IT cupboards locked, and I cant get access :mad::mad::mad::mad:

I dont have an MS account as missed out on the account offer, and need to get some stuff done this week for an important meeting Monday in Switzerland.

Thanks in advance.

There are several different versions of 2003 for the corporate market. The same key will work with all of them. What you need is 2003 professional if you want MS Access and Publisher, or 2003 Standard if you dont.

The trial disk is of no use, as its time bombed. It will accept the key, but will stop working about 180 days after install.

Under the MS licensing agreement (Select+SW assurance), as long as you remain employed by your employer and use MS office on your desktop at work I believe they can legally let you use a copy at home.

I tried a clients copy of 2003 small business edition, and our code wouldnt work. It was a Dell supplied with some extra contact manger disk.

Guess I'll have to use office live, and hope I dont need to check and amend on the flight :(

All sorted!

He'd saved a master copy on the server to aid installs during a system config change and PC flash, and it was still there.

Licence does indeed allow a desktop copy and a laptop copy, so have loaded at home as well :D
