KW V3 Rear Adjust??

Featured Replies

I fitted these ages ago to my car but never got around to adjusting them. Got settings from here but the roads in Ireland are a bit worse than the UK so where a bit stiff. I have been too busy with sorting out my wedding and visa for my wife. But all sorted now and i adjusted the front and the car handles a lot better now. I cannt find the book on these and cannt find the adjustment for the rear. Any one have a pic of where to adjust.

I did a search and couldnt find anything, even a scan of the manual would help.

Jack the car up at the back, chock the front wheels, then take off the wheel and look up at where the rear shock bolts to the body, you will see two bolts holding a plate, undo the two of these bolts, then undo the bottom bolt holding the base of the shock.

Swing the shock downwards towards you and you will see the adjuster in the center of the KW3 at the top, clockwise for firmer and anti clock for softer.

I should have bought this set up by the sounds of it... I've got V1s and they are a bit too hard!!!

On another note, did you get the Lambo brakes on mate?

TSP,

I think the V1 are softer than the V3 even when you soften them right up, so Ive been told. I have the Weitecs which are sposed to be the same and I kinda know where you commin from mate, dependin on how low you have it mate jus try windin them up a tad so the car is raised a bit. i did that and it made a masive diff to the ride,

billy

Cheers Billy, I will do mate :)

Still sitting under my stairs as just have not had the money to get them put on. Might be able to get it done next month before the xmas pain hits me. Was looking at a 08 Maserati GT and the brakes on it looked like an updated version of mine, feck all difference. It kills me to not have them on the car.

Send them too me, I'll make use of them :D
