FL computer display ?

Featured Replies

:( I have a FL Ocy Scout and the memory 2 display for total miles etc upto 99.99hrs or 2000mls is not displaying, and also the speed in kph is replacing ( when moving ) the total milage of the car, I have read the manual ( which is badly written ) and cannot find anyway of changing these displays :rotz: Has anybody managed to change them ( its not maxidot ) cheers - Stuart.

The speed display is by design and I dont think can be altered. its an EU requirement that KMH is shown. Since the speedo does not have kmh on, it needs to be displayed elsewhere.

To switch between the computer displays, press the button on the bottom of the wiper stalk whilst displaying say mpg it should switch between 1/2 on the display.

Hi Manno, yes if I press the button underneath it goes to display 2 but it keeps resetting just like mem 1, eg its not counting up properly ( sorry I should have explaned it better ) I thought I had read in the book that I could change the display from kph but I couldn't find it. cheers - Stuart.

Memory 2 should be remembered and only reset by pressing and holding the button on the bottom of the stalk, or going round to its max mileage.

 Hi all, its memory 2 that only counts about 400mls and then resets itself, anything to do with the button on the main speedo display ? its annoying as I keep a check on how the MPG improves as the engine loosens up. cheers - Stuart.

Is the computer display on the FL different to that on the pre FL?

Maxidot? The FL lights up white, the pre-FL is a kind of light blue. The functions on the display are pretty much the same...

Cheers but I meant the non maxidot and havent oredered maxi dot and is too late to change my order :thumbdwn:

Mine is just a black and white display ( not maxidot ) that came with the Scout, and there must be a fault as this morning with mem 2 as it reset itself again it was below 400 mls and had only counted about 15hrs. cheers - Stuart.

The standard display now looks like that on the new FL models. Maxidot has menu with more options on it, but they now look very similar.

I'll let you know when my car arrives :D

I've only seen a brief comparison in the showroom and on a test drive.
