OEM Skoda acc's - have u guys ever fitted them?

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

Looked on Skoda's website and noticed a few bits and bobs which appeal, has anyone ever bought them, are they any good (fit wise), easy to fit? and are they still available from Skoda (bearing in mine the Fabia 1 is no longer sold)

Thinking of the

B-piller black precut panels

Black plastic door sill protectors

darkened side repeater lamps

OEM dashboard cup holders

Got the first two on SWMBOs Fabia. Fit is good as you would expect from OEM parts although the B Pillar trims are a bit fiddly to install.

The darkened side repeaters are standard on the vRS and made by the same people that make the clear ones and the cup holder is, I believe, standard on the Elegance, so the fit will be the same as any other standard component.

I've fitted them all except for the B pillar trims. They're all dead eady to fit.

I've Fitted the cup holder (see my project in the link in my sig) and it was simple.

Remove the stereo and side trim, undo the torx screws, and replace with the cup holder. 20 mins job, max.

You don't actually need to remove the stereo!

Good point, i removed mine at the time for another job, and did the cup holder at the same time.

:o

I've got the cup holder (Not standard on UK Elegance) dead easy fit :-) Also fitted under seat storage on the driver side to compliment the standard one on the passenger side. I think you can only get the pillar trim for the Combi now.

it says on the site the b pillar trims are no longer available
