Alfa Brera 2.4 JTD

Featured Replies

Anyone noticed how cheap these have got now?

Im seeing them for arounf 15-16k from Alfa Dealers

Surely that has to be a bargin

They are cracking looking cars and I'm sure the 2.4 engine will mean pretty good performance though I don't think the economy is going to be great at all.

Certainly a lot of vehicle for your money , and the Spiders are similarly priced too.

Too heavy, not great handling and the economy from the 2.4JTD is nowhere near what it should be. The average on spritmonitor for the 2.4JTD across all Alfas is 34mpg. If I was going to have a Brera, it'd have to be the V6 petrol.

True- but still what a looker!!

Is there a better priced car for that kind of budget for pure looks?

The GTV? They look lovely. They're very cheap now. The GTV V6 sounds much nicer than the Brera V6 too for some reason. But they do go wrong way too much. And they're too small inside for me.

The GTV looks as if at the clay model stage, someone walked past and gouged two chunks out of the flanks and they never bothered to re-do it!

I think the Brera is a lovely car, the "S" looks great in grey with nice wheels too.

Almost talked myself into one until the gaffer said I would not be too happy squeezing my fat butt in regularly; (they are a little snug !!) and we went all sensible and bought the grey 'un instead.
