I will be tonight placing my order for a new vRS 2.0TDI in Race Blue.

I'm part exing in my furby as it will be 3 years old early next year and with the deals on at the min, along with the price increas coming now seems the best time to make the change.

The extra's will be Race Blue, Heated seats & Maxi-dot. I Might have the spare wheel for £50 not sure yet.

Nice, has dealer indicated a delivery timescale?

I'd def go for the spare wheel by the way.

He said about 10-12 weeks when we spoke this morning, however I should know more later in the week.

Placed my order had all of the above plus a spare wheel and the protection for the inside and out.

Yeah, numbers work out very well. Was the same guy who sold me my Furby vRS 3 years ago next month so he must like me now

Nice! Basically the same spec as my car, except I went for the leather.

The spare at £50 when you order the car is not too bad. It costs a lot more if you want to add it later, and provides a lot more re-assurance that you won't be stranded with a trashed tyre.

If I get mine tomorrow it will be 3 days less than 8 weeks from order to delivery..ordered mine on 4th august so maybe just missed everybody piling in with the orders or picked a spec and colour that was already in the pipeline so to speak..anyway very pleased

Thats what I though about the spare wheel, don't fancy getting stuck some where with a damaged alloy or trashed tyre, atleast even a space saver can get you home or to the nearest garage.

Did think about the leather but wasn't sure its worth £800 after been in a few cars with it.

Been in touch with the dealer today and it should be here around the 14th December , if however its not here in time to register before the VAT change Skoda will pay the extra 2.5% .

You'll love it going from the Fabia VRS to the Octavia 2 VRS. Chalk and cheese, night and day.....errm, Jekyll and Hyde?

The ride quality is VASTLY superior and it corners much flatter and more confidently too than the Fabia ever did, even with the RARB fitted. The build quality also feels very different with the doors shutting with a whump and not a clunk if you get my meaning. I love mine and could never go back. The Fabia was point and squirt fun but this is far more grown up.

Will post some picts over the weekend to help the wait - (race blue) You won't be disappointed and worth the wait.

Went for the blue as my current one is black and its the only other colour I really liked.
