One click auto door open

Featured Replies

I have a two month old Roomster SE 1.6 which I am very pleased with. However, I have been told by my dealer that the one click open door facility is no longer possible on Roomsters after July 2009. Is this true or just my dealer?

I can just about understand the logic of the 2 stage unlocking process, although it would be better if one-click was standard and two clicks optional. I assume it's for if you were being chased you could get in but the chaser couldn't open another door. I don't think that's a likely scenario for most of us.

But I don't understand why the electric windows can only be operated for a short time after turning the ignition off, and not at all if the driver's door has been opened. It means that still if you get out and leave passengers in the car they cannot open a window. I often come back to find my wife sitting with the door open just as she did in our old car where the windows only operated with the ignition on.

Does anyone know if that can also be changed so they can always be opened please?

Remote window control will require extra hardware such as an Alientech

One click just takes a 30 sec Vag com procedure
