Skoda Badge - Blue

Featured Replies

Saw this badge on a mk1 Octy in Portugal (front badge is same colour). As you can see the colour is Blue, not the usual Green. Was this badge a special for continental Europe perhaps? Or, is it more likely that the original colour Green has faded due to the intensity of the sunlight in that part of the world?

I think the badges fade if they have been in the sun for a long time.

Mine were the same faded blue, a concensus of other Briskodians when I asked the same question.

Still looks green on my laptop

They do however fade quite badly and i guess that's all that has happened to it.

That's as I suspected. Thanks for the inputs.

I changed mine to all black, the new engine cover type.

Mine are exactly the same, although a Skoda tech at my local main dealer put it down to water ingress..
