Just got my 1 year Finance statement from VW Finance for my Octavia CR TDI vRS.

I currently owe £12,300.

So what would you estimate a 58 plate (as above) Octy would be worth now as I'd be interested to see the depreciation difference.

Cheapest on autotrader is £12750 (08 Plate), on the book £11694 (After 1 year (Whatcar))

Given the current climate for used car prices it may well be worth over book price.

Auction prices seem to have gone mad over the past few months. Went to a BCA one in Manchester in May and was amazed at what cars were being bid up to. Eventually bought out of Autotrader as is was definitely cheaper, especially given that the buyers premium had to be added to the hammer price (obviously higher for a private buyer than for the trade).
