These wheels would look good on a red VRS

Featured Replies

Just spotted these on fleabay, and IMAO i think they would look good on a red VRS.

........then again, might be a bit pikey:D

Not sure if the offset is ok though

(I'm nothing to do with the seller BTW, just spotted them)

It says they are original GTI alloys but the original GTI wheels were 5/112 hub pattern, not 5/100, so make checks if you are thinking of buying them. Never like those GTI wheels myself, a bit blingy.

The last generation Polo GTi (The mini Mk5 Golf-a-like) had the same wheels would they not be 5x100?

Oh and i think they look vile with red inserts :D

I too thought those wheels were naff (on Golf or Polo), and with red bits, they're just horrible... :(

I note they're on Mk6 Golf GTIs too, so VW clearly want to get their money's worth out of the design... :thumbdwn:

Definitely a bit steak and kidney lock opener.

IMO they even look wrong on the car they were intended for!

That's a really well known forum car. :o.

I would love to buy these if:

1) My eBay a/c worked.

2) Price was right and I could arrange to get them to Swindon. :D

Doesn't mean he has to like it... I think the 'styling' is gross too, but it's not my car at the end of the day!
