Shade/name of white paint for Felicia

Featured Replies

Ey up everyone, ive just bought a N-reg Felicia 1.3 GLXi on Sunday, which has a few little rust patches.

My question is quite a simple one, im wondering what the name or the shade of the white is so i can buy some paint the right colour, i dont really need a code, as it'll just be rattle cans im buying.

Is it by any chance the same as any of the VW colours? As when i was in Halfords the only Skoda paint they had was black, but there were three shades of VW white.

Thanks in advance, Rich

Mine's Candy white, but it's a '97....

They also did Swan White - 1061 I think is the code (off the top of my head!) My sister has used some of this on her Ford Fiesta and it matches quite well. You will properly be ok with some standard white paint from a local shop etc unless your going for show quality!

That age of Felicia is quite likely to be Pearl White (Perlova Bila in Czech) - paint code 1088/F9C. This is more blue than Candy White, which looks almost pinky in comparison.

If this is what you need (the paint code should be on the VIN plate somewhere) then I've got four unopened proper Skoda rattle cans of this that I'm happy to let you have for the cost of the postage - I don't have a Pearl White Felicia anymore.

For god's sake don't use any old paint from a corner shop - you'll be amazed how different white can look...

cheers

James

Fruitbat that would be brilliant. You have PM :D

I've a similar issue with my 1993 L reg Favorit. Is that likely to be in Pearl white?

If I were to replace a whole door, should I paint it / get it painted before attaching?

Thanks.

definitely easiest to sand down and paint before attaching, less chance of the paint running etc if its painted flat before attaching
