The moral of this story is that adventurous colour choices may cost you when you sell.

Yep, go for the same safe, boring silver, just like all the other sheep.....

Then you can spend a fortune modding the car to get something different

We call those 500s the "Block of Cheese" cars where I live...

Ha. The funny thing is it had a higher power to weight ration than your Furby VRS!!! ergo it was a damn sight quicker!!!!

Bloody fast block of cheese!!

The weird thing is I nearly bought a ..........yellow Furby VRS at one point!!!

PMSL!!!!

What I can't understand is WHY is this SOLID paint colour a £400 extra??????

possibly bought by the same people who pay about £1500 for sat nav!

Agree completely.

Why is built-in sat-nav always such rubbish value-for-money?

A stand-alone sat-nav is not only 1/10 of the price or less, it usually works better even when brand new and is certainly much easier (and far cheaper) to update / repair / replace.

And you can place the screen wherever you like, such as somewhere where you can glace at it more easily without looking down at the dashboard.
