Yes it could

When I had mine remapped by jabbasport it was done on the understanding that I would not run the car on anything less than 98ron (optimax at that time).

I only use "V" power now which is 99ron.

HTH

If the car has been mapped to run on 95ron juice it should be fine....

I personally would use the more potent stuff though like Shell's V Power (99ron) or BP's Ultimate (98ron).

It's the N75'f' boost regulator valve causing the boost to fluctuate mate! Very common problem!!!

Don't bother changing it for the N75'j' sports valve......If your car has been set up with the standard one, you SHOULD keep it that way, otherwise it will cause issues with the boost sensors etc.

N75 part no: 058-906-283-F

Here's an old picture of mine the N75'f' is circled in red!

Dont use 95ron mate they perform much better on higher octane fuel, best thing is to check it with vag com to see what fault codes come up,cause it could be a number of things like boost leak, n75 dv etc.

sounds like the MAF pal . mine was doing this after i had a new throttle body to cure the 17705 code and fuel trim .

what i would do is un-plug the MAF sensor and see what see runs like . if it is back to the way it was then thats your problem , thats how i knew my was shaged !

( you might need VAG.Com after to clear the code it puts on )

hope this helps

I had exactly the same fault and all it was was a small split in a pipe from the turbo to the actuator , fitted new piece of pipe and good as new again.

A similar problem on my Jabba remapped 4X4 was diagnosed by Jabba as being due to a faulty N75 valve.

yep, i had exactly the same issue with mine, noticed it on the test drive and knocked £400 off the price cos at the time thought it was something more serious! new n75 valve did the trick, think it was around £40 iirc
