Emissons light on after hesatation fix

Featured Replies

The emissions warning light is now on my fabia after the hesatation

fixhad been carried out , drives fine . Any ideas

EGR flow has been reduced too much. If you fitted the 9mm gasket it needs drilled out to 11mm.

I thought that fitting the gasket was for it to stay at 9mm to fix the hesitation ?

Original gasket was 23mm, BLT engine fix was to fit a 14mm gasket, but it didn't cure the stutter completely. Dealer cannot fit a 9mm gasket, as the emissions don't meet the criteria. 9mm gasket and turning down EGR with VAGCOM, is one fix, or 11mm gasket with no tweeking needed.

Modern cars eh
