Am I doing this right?

Featured Replies

Hello all, great site but I'm not sure what I'm doing. So far threads have been v helpful in sorting out problems on our Fabia and Octy - most recent are Fabia cutting out on tickover and Octy juddery braking and pulling to n/s. Electric window 'sliders' have been fun too!!

Hello and welcome - back! :D

Hello

Two posts in four years!

Hello! :wavey: Where abouts in Yorkshire are you?

....I will look out for your reply in 2013!

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

I know us yorkshire folk have a (undeserved) reputation for being tight but its not usually for being tight with our words. This could be a first..... a quiet Yorkshireman:D

Ay up!

Hello all, great site but I'm not sure what I'm doing.

You don't say! ;)

Welcome though  - it's rather belated, but there we go.

I think the only time I've ever seen an average post count as, "Posts Per Day: 0.00":rofl:

I'm detecting some rib-tickling here, or is it me? I live near Wakey but originally come from Staffs so, no, I'm not a quiet Yorkshireman, just a quiet ex-Staffordian (how long do you have to live in 'God's Country' before being adopted?

Thanks for all your replies, nice to know people are reading this stuff. I'm just off to buy pads and discs for the Octy and temp sensor for Fab. By the way, when I replace temp sensor, do I need the ECU reset. Previously I was told that if the sensor was faulty, the ECU would default to an 'emergency' setting. Will putting the new sensor in mean that it remains on this????? Answers in less than four years would be appreciated (cackle).:D

At least you can take it on the chin :D

Welcome by the way

I have noticed that Yorkshire folk call a spade a spade which I can cope with. It's when they smack you up the ear'ole with it that it becomes less understandable and more painful.

I do qualify for Yorkshiremanship on two fronts; I can say 'Eee bai gum' and I'm wearing an ankle length coat made entirely of gnat's hide!?!:D

By gum lad , thi has it :D

Get yoursen dawn ta pun nah...

Here's an answer in less than four years: ain't got the foggiest! :o

There's some clever folk about in the Fabia forum who'll know!

Buttershaw???? :Yikes: Rita, Sue & Bob too territory!!! You're brave - I daren't even drive through there.... :D

...only joking SiVxr if you're watching! :P

Fanx for the answer in less than four years!?!?!

I can tell you I didn't star in the film, and it helps to drive an 'older Skoda' - don't get nicked as much as many still believe they've got rear engines and have heated rear windows to warm your hands.............zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz etc. etc. I do like to think of myself as brave though, or is that stupid - hmm - it's a tough life being a hero;)
