Only had my fabi a week and when i returned to my car today someone had reversed into it and scuffed the rear bumper. Not Happy :(

If its gone throught the paint you'll be best going to a bodyshop, its £100- £150 for a bumper to be painted.

Take it to Pride and Joy Classics in Middlesbrough. I've seen a few bits of their work and they are very good and sensibly priced too.

Same thing happened to my car early in the year I was extremely ****ed about it !!!

I was washing mine the other day and noticed quite a nasty scratch on the rear bumper - looks like possibly someone with a towbar has backed into the car. Also noticed a scuff on the front O/S wheel arch - looks like something has rubbed against it in a carpark. 'kin well annoying. Luckily the wheel arch scuff has polished out - the bumper scratch will need touching up though.

post a pic up, you might be able to polish it out?

When you run your finger nail over the scratch, does it catch? If so it won't polish out.

My Dad has used Chips Away and they did a great job - I couldn't locate the repair. Alternatively, keep an eye out at scrappys or ebay for a replacement bumper. If you are lucky, its cheaper to replace rather than repair!

Just bought a replacement bumper tonight in the same colour so ill put that on this week. are the bumpers easy to take off and put back on? thanks

Pretty easy I think....

It is well explained in the Haynes manual, but it might be easier to get the car on ramps for easier access to the torx screws...
