Well, I'm new to the car, but it's a year old. Race Blue DSG Estate. Delighted with it in the 50 miles I've driven so far. Disappointed to see the faff involved in fitting Bluetooth, but I'll live. What I really want is a controllable MP3 dock - like the iPod dock, but without having to buy an iPod (please don't go there thumbsdown.gif) - I'll ask the question in the right Forum. Long time fan of the Rover BRM and the related BB (theBRM.co.uk :: Rover BRM forum), and if you guys are as pally as the ones over there, then I reckon I'm sorted.

Cheers for all the welcomes. Regarding the MP3 connect question, some serious browsing has led me to Dension 300, with much posting by Shark_90. Seems like the bloke to do it, because I'm not keen on ripping my dash out. I'll eventually ask in the right place, but in case anyone is looking, is there anyone out anywhere a bit closer than Mansfield (I'm not a million miles from Portsmouth) that does this sort of thing?

It's quite easy to do yourself. Get a T20 torque screwdriver, uncouple the connector at the back, plug in the new one and take the spur off that connects the 300 down the rh side of the radio and support it under the dash. Plug your mp3 straight in and job done. I'm a bit far away to do it for you though, unfortunately !
