Whilst trawling through old threads I came upon one that stated Anthracite grey is an option on the FL VRS......I immediately checked the Skoda website and, yes, anthracite grey is a £400 colour option....Loving this colour on the pre FL VRS LE I was gutted as i've ordered mine in race blue ....i'm sure that when I ordered mine in early Oct the grey was not an option?....Two things, does anyone know if this is a colour that has just been introduced for the FL? and secondly, does anyone have a picture of a FL grey VFS? as i'm tempted to try and change my order.

Hi, I think they held back from offering anthracite initially as it was the only colour available on the non-FL Limited Edition vRS so made it a bit more "special". I wanted a FL vRS in anthracite when I went to order one in September but had to wait until it was officially added to the colour options on 12th October. I've ordered the estate version and have specced silver roofbars as I think it will set it off great. Therefore I don't think there are any anthracite FL vRS's on the road yet and I guess I'm in line for one of the first. Dealer has told me end of the year, so rest assured I will post pics when it arrives....

I've ordered mine in Anthracite (VRS CR hatch), Race Blue was my second choice.

Skoda will not change the existing orders. I changed my order 6 days after original order (22nd Sept) by adding the Bluetooth option (£480) Skoda would not alter the order on 28th Sept

My dealer, Progress Bedford, was very good and ordered another car for me. They said that they would have no problem selling my original order as it was not an unusual spec

You can but ask your dealer and see if he will re-order another one

Dont worry mate i pick my candy white estate up on saturday.I will try and have pictures up by sunday and once you see them you wont regret it.I might have ordered an Anthracite at the time i was ordering if it was available but didnt want to pay £400 extra anyway so white it was:cool:

I ordered mine on the 26th Sept. and Anthracite was an option as I was lead to beleive by the dealer. However went for white instead.....build week 48 BUT may be sooner !

I was the same as you but I was able to order my FL vRS estate in grey the first week of September and the dealer said it was next years colour but was able to process the order and I should have for the 1st of December and I can't wait as its fully loaded so to speak:)

Have had mine on order since 1st september. Expecting it in the next couple of weeks so should be one of the first.

Cant wait, I think it's definitely the best colour having seen the LE.

Ended up ordering it in black.

Now it is clearly evident you can get it..............

What to do?

Don't want to cancel as it is in build.

I was never convinced about the new FL's looks, but it slowly grew on me, then I saw a silver un on this board, ooooooh lovely totally won over, now that the VRS is attainable in the Anthracite I know what my next car will be after the LE. I mighte end up buying a second hand one off one of you lot!

Amazing how the ordering process varies from dealer to dealer though.

I was told the same. Had to go to a different dealer in the end.

I would give the guy a ring and let him know your dissapointment and that it'a basically his fault you dont have the exact car u wanted.

see what he says, perhaps a good will gesture in order...........
