Anyone use iTunes??

Featured Replies

Tried my new MP3 CD in the car this morning and all is tickety boo. Only thing is I copied all my tracks into 1 folder so have to scroll through 90 tracks.... Didn't realise that at the time..... Booger!!

Yeah...I did that the first time. I now use itunes to rip, but burn the discs through windows, where they are already set out in the folders they were ripped to, under:

My Music/iTunes/iTunes Music

You first need to set it up to share in the preferences. There is a sharing tab which gives you some options' date=' and allows you to specify a name for the machine, and even a password. After that, just leave itunes running on that machine, and when you run itunes on another machine, the main machines name should be visible in the left-side window somewhere under library...click on it and hey presto, you can browse the main machines tunes.

cool, just need to load itunes on my pc now. Other machine is an imac :D

My machines are a PC, and an ibook, and the sharing works great either way. :)

do you know if it also shares music thats on the ipod? As the problem I have with my imac is that it has a 10gb hard drive and my ipod has a 20gb drive. So most of the music is on there. Must get around to installing a bigger drive.

Sorry mate...I don't know the answer to that one. Give it a go...you never know :)
