Fabia Greenline Review

Featured Replies

Got the new Greenline saturday... Nice!

wasn't sure if it got rear disc brakes with ESP or not due to strange wording on brouchure but it HAS! The book says discs, with 1.6 model? Has a socket for sat-nav or lighter, as I suspected. It's by the handbrake, along with a port for plugging in an ipod to play through the car stereo. No spare wheel though so I may have to find one somewhere.. Anyone modded thiers with flasher alloys? a potential sale of 4 wheels to us who need one each!!!

no armrest, so thinking of getting one.. Anyone know how easy they re to fit?

Would not advise the Armrest as I find it just gets in the way more often than not. Ihave done about 1200 Miles in my Fabia Scout and I think the armrest has only been down for about 100 of these miles. It is nice to use on a long Motor Way journey but rhat is the only time I would consider using it.

Oh nice one. How do you find the noise as I hear they aren't too quiet. I will also be looking at the option of fitting an armrest when my greenline is delivered in January...

sounds a little like a taxi cab at pullaway. not noisey at 70, except tyres on road.

still want armrest. shame on them for not putting a light in the rear! also thought there was a remote boot button on drivers door with central locking, but no, there aint!

Which level trim did you get? My 1.6 level 2 has the boot open button on the door but also on the remote. Does yours have it on the remote?

As far as I can see if you get the ESP option you also get rear disc brakes. I assume it is easier for the computer to balance the car if all the wheel brakes are the same.

I'm not too bothered about the sound as the kids use me as a taxi service anyway!!

I have the electric boot popper on the remote, just not on the door! Talking about the grenline, here!

have you got your car yet, Mr Fixer? Does it have the remote boot pop on thr drivers door?

No remote boot pop on drivers door. Only on the key.

Bit mean of them! Surely the weight saving is minimal! Same with a rear light. Not even got an ashtray/coin holder pot, thingy!

Small compaints but complaints none the less!

To be honest I don't miss any of these things!. I am very surprised ho much I enjoy driving this car. For a start it is much nippier than I thought it would be. Also less noisy. Overrall I am very happy :)

I am happy overall, just wish they would'nt flimp on some silly little things that make no real difference to manufacurer cost but improve ownership greatly!

I had a student who has driven for years, taking his UK test as he is from the EU, He was VERY impressed with the Greenline when he opened it up a bit, in third, on the A12.... Even suggested he may be interested in one!
