Trying to connect to Google tonight and it's just not happening.

Thanks Rob - that's opened straight up, so I haven't got a clue what I've done to stuff Google :o

Close your browsers, open a command line and type "ipconfig /flushdns"

Once you've done that give it another go.

Might be your DNS is upset somewhere.

Joking aside, it’s quite possible that you just need to reset Google as your homepage, at least if that is how you open your browser.

No - I gave up Norton ages ago.

Am currently running Virgin Media's PC Guard, but I've had that for a while now and it's never caused a problem before.
