Hi I'm a new member,Sidepike.

I have an Octavia Classic TDI PD Estate 2005 which I got a few months ago:)

One owner with 49,000on the clock and I love it:thumbup::thumbup:

Have an Omega 2.5 td which tows my caravan great,and have just had fitted a tow bar to the Skoda,but the towing is 200 kg less

Only one problem,thats the rear top brake light staying on all the time:mad:

I guess the brake lights must be perminantly powered and the brake pedal earths them when the brakes are applied.

Just wonder if its the tow bar socket not wired correctly and earthing the high level brake light :confused:

First time starting a project thread, bear with me... Heard about this Roomster not too far from me that might be heading for a scrapyard, and decided to try to acquire it. That went well and it came to my place this last weekend. Early 2012, 1.2 TSI, 5sp manual, 158k miles on the clock. This is it, just after being washed. Hello , my brother has biught kodiak with matrix led lights. One of the problem is that high beam don't light up automatically and there is option to enable it on the menu. I have read somewere that someone had the same problem , but in tme meatime recieved an ota update and the function appeard . I have an obd11 but can't connect the car because of rhe newer protection so I was wondering how I could enable it. Another thing is if it would be possible to enable the inner rear stop lights. Local dealership said it would cost £300 to upgrade my maps and suggested that there are better options them then for this! After lots of online research I decided to update the firmware from H4120 to 5274. I have the zipped file RNS_510_FW_5274_update.iso and have burned this to a DVD at lowest speed. When I put the DVD in the unit (no keys in iginition) it whirs around and then after 20-30 seconds comes back with a CD/DVD error. The unit will play a normal music
