Been making some enquiries today.

My Honda is 2 1/2 years old and I'm getting itchy.

So I got quoted for a new Octavia vRS CR170 DSG.

Possibly white with Hid's.

I'm very tempted by the 0% VAT at the moment and the good price they are giving me for my Honda.

Can anyone post some pictures of a new white vRS or a red one please?

Mate of mine at work has ordered an OVLOV 480 ES.....sorry I mean a C30 D5 and they're expecting a build date of week 51. As a result he's now expecting to pay full VAT as it'll be shipped and registered in the new year.

I'm not getting mine until March, and changes in VAT will not affect anything - the price is protected.

Ah I see - that should save a few quid then. 2.5% on this much money is quite a bit.

White seems to be the most popular colour at the moment - everyone's getting either a white one. Even the Leon is appearing in white all over the place - we have 2 white FR's in our work car park alone.

It's why I went for red - now quite a rarity but you need to keep it polished to help it not fade althought it's nothing like the reds from the 80's and 90's which went pink within a week. Had to polish my MR2 every week otherwise it went orange. Rubbish paint.

Have had my white VRs FL hatch for two months now........ it looks fantastic when its clean!!..........

The new TSi engine is such a fantastic drive tho it makes up for having to wash it so much..............

TBH..It could be a case of any colour..I really wany HID's as well. We shall see what the dealer can source...I might have to wait 3 months!!:eek:
