Boy I miss my One Touch Indicators

Featured Replies

Whilst my vrs is being repaired DirectLine/Enterprise have given me a Vauxhall Meriva, in all a nice spacious if somewhat slow car.

I obviously use my one touch indicators on the Fabia more than I think but when you drive a car that is not equipped with them, a car such as the Meriva, you then find out what a useful feature it is.

Lets see what other features I miss over the next few days.

Have to agree with you. Just returned a new octavia after a 600 mile trip and I found myself longing fo the one touch touch :P.

i have just been out in my bosses mondeo tdci ghia thingy and that have tripple flash indicators and buy they started to **** me off so did the loud rattle behind the dash the not sor brill clutch action, the sloppy ride the very very vague brakes etc etc

But you can wheelspin them in third :D

Can't say I've had the pleasure of 3 flash :(

spin in 3rd !!!! it felt like it couldnt pull skin off rice pudding

What about when you just want to do a double flash? :naughty: sorry, going off track again. have to admit they annoyed me on my 1.2 courtesy VW polo I had for a bit, and can live without them to be honest. ;) Just never bother indicating :D:rofl:

thats exactly what I thought, massive massive turbo lag!

lol...jump from 105 PD into 230 1.8T...my clutch needs some tlc.

But ironically I miss the lack of power. No I do I'm not taking the micky, it was really nice to drive and be relaxed, taking my time etc...still made progress as much as the uber fast bmw guys in the outside lane by being the slow skoda on the inside.

Not trading in mind ;)

Yet...quick throw me a grappling hook, I'm a sliding.

Another thing i'm having to adjust my driving style again since the Meriva has a petrol engine with low bhp and even less torque.

Looks like I'm gonna have to rev the nuts out of it to get it to move. I miss changing gear at 2000rpm, whilst making swift progress :)

*throws a grappling hook and hits around the head with a 2 gallon can of Optimax. Also soaks clothes in l'eau de diesel as a reminder. ;):D
