Unfortunately, it could be 1 of 2 at that age. The colour on the 2001 and early 2002 models is Rally Red, later cars were Corrida Red.

Absolutely right. In your position, I'd probably ring a dealer parts dept with your VIN and get them to confirm.

True. The paint number should also be on your SKC tag as well, that you might well have with your spare key...

Name for red? i often call it "the best" colour!! ;-)

There were 2 reds used on the vRS, 2001-2002 was Rally Red, and 2002 to 2005 was Corrida Red, they are very different, especially noticable when both colours are parked side by side. As already mentioned your car could be either as it falls at the colour switch.

52 reg so probably Corrida, I,ll go look with the spare key now and have a snoop round in the boot tomorrow when its light and not ****ing down lol
