Disaster

Featured Replies

Key dropped out my pocket yesterday while i was out in the works van, ended up having to get my sister through with the spare..... phoned the dealer and they will have a new one ready when my car is in getting its 40k service on friday....

Don't forget to ask them to remove the key you lost from the ecu (if that's possible)

As said above, make sure the old key is removed. As for trying to stop it happening for a 2nd time mate, i would find some means of attatching them to your person.

I lost a key to the digs i was staying at some years ago. In my defence i was slaughtered though :P

After that i started using a rock climbing clip which i attatched to the loops my belt goes through. I put all the keys on a wire key ring and attatched it with high strength nylon string.

Hope you manage to get things sorted out matey.

I cant have keys and the like attached to belt loops on trousers as i occasionally move tables and other furniture and the keys would scratch they have to remain in my pockets... the boss was saying to us all at work on fiday he wants us to leave our car keys in the office while we are out in the vans ( the drivers and porters that are away overnight are required to do this anyway) for safety purposes... so thats what will happen

Any old keys are removed automatically in that you can only program the keys present in one session, any that are not there will not work.
