Bridgestone ER300 Tyre

Featured Replies

Hello everyoneI am looking at replacing the front tyres on my Fabia Vrs that I have just brought and have a question about the ER300. I noticed on the Etyre website that there are two types, standard and a reinforced 6ply version and a £10ish difference in price. Is the reinforced version worth getting? I currently have the Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 fitted but am thinking of changing them as I read they are very poor in cold condition and as its getting that way soon I wonder if they are as bad as people say or could I survive the UK winter on a new set?All views welcome

The reinforced is for extra loads I believe... i'd stick with the normal ones.

The Goodyears are more of a summer tyre but if you don't drive in winter like you do in summer you'll be ok :)

Thanks for the thread, sounded like a nasty experience that tyre blow out.I have been doing some more investigating this afternoon and have found a local dealer who has Uniroyal Rainsport 2 available and I cannot find any bad reviews on them so think I will get them on the fronts for the wet/cold weather over the next few months.
