Starting woes .

Featured Replies

HELP -not for me though .Daughter has problems .She's got a nice looking/well maintained Laguna (P reg 1.8RT sport) ,which has decided to play up .Sounds like either a solenoid or sticky motor .Had a quick look in Haynes ,and as usual it's decidedly vague as to location of starter - talks about removing air filter in the usual Haynes way .Know from look at Renault versions of Briskoda that there is also a relay in the fusebox which controls the solenoid. But her partner and I have had a look underneath at the usual locations for starters -and yep -you've guessed it -no sign .My personal opinion is that it's on top, under the air filter bracket ,but really don't want to go in there, unless absolutely certain as we can only see one securing bolt .Of course it could go to the garage ,but it's cost both of bits and time .Anyone help / replaced one .
