How much brake fluid?

Get 3 litres that'll cover it, And leave you loads spare!

I'd just get a 2 litre bottle or what ever size its sold in as it just does not improve with age - unless of course you are doing a couple of cars - even 2 litres is "a lot".

Edit, why do you need to order it, just use normal VAG stuff from any VAG dealer - in normal use there is no rocket science in differant makes grades of brake fluid.

Bled mine a couple of times now, one litre about five pounds. One way bleed valve and a little tub (I used jam jar) so you can see fluid oozing out, I think 10m/m ring spanner and a dry cotton cloth for a spillage purpose. Just got mate to pump brake pedal until fluid ran clear. Saved a minimum of £30.00 if allowed garage to do it for me. Taking a important point from fellow member yoda01, it's DOT 4 brake fluid, as informed by Skoda dealer, can't make any assumption or judgement on any other grades.

I litre should be enough DOT 5.1 is the best...be very careful pumping brake pedal it is possiable to turn a seal in the master cylinder.....thats why the garages use atomatic bleeders
