Short Reg plates

Featured Replies

Bit of a strange question.... What is the smallest the plate can be without effecting font size for say a 6 digit plate?

I thought under the current regs that a plate must either be full-size or a square plate as fitted to the front of an Evo etc? I certainly know that dimensions are set out as part of the regs.

I have a 5-digit reg but use a full-size plate.

What about Rover 75's? Odd shape there!

AFAIK - the only regulations are concerning the actual font, not the physical size of the plates.

Yeah, no size is defined for the actual plate size, just font and spacing

So as long as you have the correct spacing, the spacing around the outside would have to be the same as the spacing between the letters, I assume.
