Fitting heated seats

Featured Replies

Has anybody retrofitted heated seats into there Fabia? Ive just got a Elegance in at work and was going to use a load of stuff from it onto my comfort. The seats are immaculate in the Elegance and also heated so thought would be a nice upgrade! If anyones done it how easy was it? i can fit the seats no problem its the wiring that would get me, is it part of the car loom or would it have a seperate loom? the loom to the switches again is that part of the dash loom or seperate? Any help would be great!

I think they have thier own loom, which will add attaching to the standard Comfort loom. Dunno how much work that would be though. Not sure if the convience ECU would be compatible, but I am sure someone more knowledable will be along soon.

PS.:

If you do go ahead with it, I maybe interested in your old seats if they're going spare.

Thanks for the reply, I didnt think about the convience unit as i thought maybe they would just run from a relay, ill have to try and find that one out! if i go ahead with it ill let you know about the seats

I think it is a relay, but worth checking out before you go to too much effort.

And cheers, getting fed up of having no bolsters! Makes cornerning . . . interesting. B)

I wonder if you could fit the heated seats to the vrs? a mate of mine had them in his and they were lush!
