Some of the concepts have been in production by other manufacturers such as the mono block design. Magna Steyer make mono block diesel engines with head and cylinders all one these have been in production or quite a number of years and are even built in China Under license. I have not quite got up to the multi fuel part yet. Perhaps Lotus want contracts withe the Military don't they still advocate multi fuel use for tanks and so on?

I thought the variable CR was a clever idea.

Interesting anything as long as we don't have to go to full electric soon: yea I know can b rapid, full trqufrom zero rpm but how boring would it be :(
