I was told yesterday that mine is now built....in Grimsby... and will be delivered to the dealer either today or on Monday!!

I was told mid Feb for March 1st hand over!!!

Just passing on some experiance there bud. They would have had it in a lockup or garage area and might have been locked. Get them to check for activiations and fault codes before you take the keys!

Sorry for dragging up this old topic, but just heard from my dealer that my car is already with them and could be picked up next week! Ordered on 10 Dec, given a week 3 build date, and then its at the dealership today - that's 7 weeks! I'm going to wait for a 1st March pick up to get the new reg, but just felt the need to tell people that the long delivery times might be over! Mine's only a 1.4TSI so maybe I'm just lucky, but here's hoping the rest of you get quick delivery times too

Thats mad. I dare say its a car that was already in the system as being built, and the dealer picked it allowing you to jump the queue. It was probably destined for another dealer or something.
