custom map on fabia vrs

Featured Replies

hi just had a custom map and full miltek turbo back system put on my fabia and have noticed its putting out alot of black smoke when booting it. is this normall as seems to be running sweet as tho.

The extra power comes from extra fueling which means extra soot.

Different maps from different tuners produce different amount of smoke. On a track day my Jabba map got plenty of soot jokes where as another Fabia with an AMD map put out hardly any smoke, and another one with a map of unspecified origin make a complete smoke screen!!

and if you really want to see smoke check YouTube for Jason (devonutopia) 250BHP rolling road run!!

Yours sounds ok to me but if you're not happy see if the tuner can dial it down a bit

cheers you can see for yourself what smoke it puts out on youtube to Sanspeed fabia vrs an thats mine :)

that seamed ok to me what power is it producing now

Sounds about normal to me. Just wait for some rep in a mondeo to tailgate you, drop a cog and smokescreen the ****er. Who mapped it and what's she puttin out?

its normal mate, dont worry about it, and keep enjoying it.
