They fit!

Featured Replies

Wooo! As always when I often buy things, something pretty serious usually stops me using them, so I was immensely pleased when my pro race 1 wheels fitted snug on the hub, lined up with the bolt holes 100%, and cleared the brembos by a country mile! Very chuffed! Rubber all swapped over now too. Sorry for crap pic, but rubbish mobile + dim lighting = poor photos :D

Christ what profile are those tyres J?:rofl::rofl:

Edited by Jonny5ive

What size are they? 17" or 18" or even bigger?

I will never go bigger than 17". They are 7J wide so actually narrower than my old wheels which gives the rim of the tyre more protection.

I DID offer a wheel up before fitting the tyres else it would be stupid to change all the rubber over then the alloys not to fit. :p

A massive ET25 offset though which means no need for the spacers too.

Nice, very tidy, loving the transparent tyres :thumbup:

I believe this visual effect is called "two post lift & bare rims only" :wonder:

I'm liking those wheels.

Still not convinced they will be as nice as the evolos, but when today I was able to pick up one evolo and one like the above, I knew why it had to be done. B) Weight difference is quite startling for the "same size" wheel.

Jason,

White wheels on a silver car could work

Jason,

We'll see. I think it would work better on a red car personally, but you never know. ;)

Why wouldnt they fit? :wonder:

Why wouldnt they fit? :wonder:

You just never know. They could for some odd reason not been the right hub or stud pattern. :D They were off Ebay remember ;)

Here's two RUBBISH shots of the new wheels put on the back of my car. Starting to like them and they were much easier to lift up to that height than the old ones were. B)

However, I need to find a way to fill this gap as Skoda caps are too small for these wheels. Will hunt out some white ones I think.
