Hi All,

Recently I got my hands on a Fabia, the garage canged the original cassette player for a Kenwood cd player.

The sound kept dropping out on the radio, and a friend told me I would need to fit a signal booster to it.

I bought one from Halfords, fitted it and still the signal drops.

Any advice would be of much help.

Did you connect the blue wire on the signal booster to the blue or red wire on the stereo loom? - otherwise the booster has no power!

The blue wire on the signal booster was connected to the blue wire that controls the antenna

Any further ideas?
