PC + Firefox locking up with Overclockers.co.uk

Featured Replies

My PC (Athlon + XP) is usually pretty stable, but this yesterday everytime I tried to go to the Overclockers website (to look at new PC bits as my PC is old) the PC locked up before the page was fully loaded and I had to reboot.

The PC does not do this with any other website that Im visiting. Any suggestions as to why my PC is doing this with this particuler website?

My laptop can access the Overclockers site via the same wireless router without a problem.

Tried using Internet Explorer, or Safari, or Opera to load it? Might just be a browser issue.

Not a browser issue as its fine with my firefox, maybe something in your pc doesn't want to be replaced :D

Trying clearing your FF cache.

A flash or java issue?

Its always good to try an alternate browser first, if it works fine then its an error on the overclockers website. I just checked it out and it works fine.

Only thing I can suggest is that firefox kept locking up for me a few weeks back and I resolved it by downloading the latest stable version 3.5.6 I believe.

Here's the link

Firefox 3.5.6 Download
