I am thinking of purchaiing a Fabia VRS sometime in the future (possible August 2005). I have a test drive on Saturday 6 Nov, to see just how good this car is!

You'll love it - got mine Saturday and already over 500 miles onthe clock (and my commute to work is by foot)

I defy you to wait until aug next year after you have test driven it. If you do wait until aug 05 then get some elephant strength sleeping pills

Hi Joe,

have just taken delivery of my third Skoda, a Red vRS, and driven home in total glee!

Running in, but still loads of power, any gear anytime, an awesome feeling, especially after my old 1.4 16V which went well only if revved hard.

Brilliant combination of ride and handling, i only noticed the harder ride over bad roads, but spotted the sharper turn in and better composure immediately.

Lovely interior, lovely lovely lovely everything in fact!

One small thing....The older Elegance had a spring-out tray under the stereo, this one has a fag shelf. I want my spring out tray

I have had faster, and possibly better handling cars, but none I love as much as this!

All that stupidly effortless grunt, ride/handling combination, and 50+mpg without trying! Absolutely unbeatable...

Well, today's the day for my Fabia VRS test drive! Will the dealer let me out on my own? Or will he want to accompany me?

Also, is there anything in particular I should be trying or doing on my test drive?
